Hi justagirl. No, he is not right. You are doing the correct thing by not driving. You could get into a serious accident by driving and not having your seizures under control. Do you have access to a communtity health clinic? If you could contact someone at the nearest chapter of the Epilepsy Foundation of America, they might be able to help you locate medical care. Their web address is http://www.epilepsyfoundation.org . Try to get a copy of your previous medical records to help the doctors diagnose you. In addition, if you meet financial qualifcations, you may be able to get your medication(s) for free or low cost through low income programs from the drug manufacturers. I am in a similar situation with my family not believing me about having epilepsy. I know how much it hurts and how frustrating it is. When you do get diagnosed, try to get your husband to go to a doctor's appointment with you so that he understands. tlh64

u are definately doing the right thing by not driving. i had a seizure while driving and crashed into 2 houses. im lucky that it was early enough in the morning that no one was out yet and no one got killed. no matter what he says it is your decision and u have to stick by it. as for the health care i dont know much cuz my health care is free here in canada but the pills cost money... grr...
