I guess this is real now...

Hi everyone! My name is Samantha, and I am a 21 year old with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. I got diagnosed in 2015, and I've been lucky enough to have my epilepsy controlled by medication very well. But I had a seizure about a week ago, and it's making me realize how dangerous this disorder is for me. I'm applying to graduate school, and the idea of living on my own is starting to become really intimidating. I'm also feeling left out from my friends because I can't drink or party with them. I'm just feeling really isolated and afraid. Does anyone have any tips on how to feel confident living independently or just general reassurance about living with epilepsy as a young person? Thank you!
