How many seizures is considered "frequent?"

Thu, 12/01/2016 - 14:53
I suffer from grand Mal seizures starting in my temporal lobe. I was diagnosed at 21 and now I'm 25. I'm taking lamictal and it's working. But my problem is that sometimes I forget to take it. This happens about 3-5 times per year. I've noticed that I'm feeling "foggy." I'm having a little more trouble remembering things. I read that "frequent" grand Mal seizures can cause brain damage, so I'm not sure if it's that or the meds. But I'm not sure what counts as "frequent." Is 3-5 grand Mal seizures per year enough to cause brain damage? Have any of you guys experienced "fogginess" due to lamictal?
