Hot sunny weather and Heat in Chest causes seizure?

Mon, 06/29/2015 - 09:25
Hi there I am new to this but just have to ask if anyone has had this before? I suffer from mild sturge webber syndrome it never affected me at all apart from a bit weakness in the right side of my body. In may last year I had an ercp procedure involving a tube going into my stomach and bile ducts. Since then I have been having seizures that are hard to explain. The docs said everything is tine with the procedure but at about tea time I always get heat in my chest around 6pm and doesnt go away till 8 pm more recently I have discovered I have seizures at this time when ive been out in a hot sunny day. The seizures involve weakness on one side then pins and needles in my face then I get what can only be described as cramp in my leg and then my side to my hand and up my arm. I then have a twiching in my hand before going into a seizure. Also my eyes are turned up and i feel like im unable to breathe. im still concious but lasts about 15 seconds or so then I eventually come round. This always happens though on a hot sunny day and around the same time 6pm when I have heat in my chest. Im currently on sodium valporate but my neurologist does not think it has anything to do with the medication and it shouldnt create heat in my chest. Im really struggling to find answers I was fine before this ercp but now the docs said there is no problems there and as I said my neurologist says the heat should not cause a seizure. The seizures vary at its worst is just as I explained or sometimes its just a horrible cramping sensation on one side of body. Has anyone had anything like this especially the heat in chest and at exactly the same time thanks for your time.
