Horrible pain in left shoulder after seizure

Fri, 08/26/2016 - 05:31
I've had a total of 5 seizures all within 2 months. The first one I had was thanksgiving last year which of course scared my whole family. All the seizures I've had I had gone unconscious and had no recollection. Just pain, tiredness and memory loss. This last one I had was in December maybe January. I was asleep. I awoke with severe shoulder pain that I thought was going to go away..but now 8 months later it almost seems to get worse..the pain I mean. It's my left shoulder right around my collar bone. They had me go in for an x-ray and didn't find anything. I'm only 25 years old, out of the military and trust me I hate hospitals. Any advice on what I should do? Could it be muscle related? I also understand the suspension of my license but after 8 months without a license I feel my doctor is being a "prick."

Doctors can be welllll

Doctors can be welllll depends on several things. Understand that revoking your license is not just the doctor but the state. Laws are written to protect the people in the state. Each state has different time requirements so check with your state to see what the time limit is before you can get it back. Also understand that once the doctor has filled out the paperwork the DMV has to set it back up so time is there too. They don't have a switch to flip. You aren't the only one that hates hospitals. Or doctors. I don't like them but I also know that some things aren't seen in x-rays one month that are in the next. When I was 21 I had a scaffold board break while I was on it. The hospital took x-rays and saw nothing. A month later I was still having problems and my knew buckled again. Well I had to see a specialist and yup football knee. I had to have surgery done. FOr all I know you might have had a seizure and did something in it and it could have done something to the socket. As for not driving for 8 months. I have been living and dealing with epilepsy for 50+ years. I still have a seizure every 8-14 days but at times after 6 months seizure free. I have NEVER driven. I still get where I need to and have done many different jobs. Including being part owner of a small business. All it takes is planning things out.I hope this helpsJoe
