Fri, 03/31/2006 - 17:52
HI EVETYONE I JUST HAVE A QUESTION LAST NIGHT I HAD A SEIZURE AND THIS TIME MY LEFT SIDE OF MY FACE WAS HAVING SO MUCH PAIN WHILE I WAS HAVING THE SEIZURE IT HURTED SO BAD. I HAD TWO SMALL SEIZURES BACK BACK THEY DIDN'T LAST VERY LONG BUT THE PAIN WAS REALLY BAD. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY I WAS IN PAIN ON MY LEFT SIDE OF MY FACE. SHOULD I CALL MY DOCTOR TO TELL HIM BEFORE LAST NIGHT MY LAST SEIZURE WAS 2/28/06 AND I DIDN'T HAVE PAIN THEN.

I've never really had pain. Just the frustration of being half conscious while trying to stop my eyes from fluttering open and shut when I was a child. I would ask the doctor about this. It might not hurt to keep a seizure journal, to document seizure times and your responses to those seizures. It makes it easier to describe tthe progression of epilepsy to the doctor who has limited time with each one of his many patients.
