Had My first seizure HELP!!

I will try to explain it as best as I can. All of this happens during sleep. When I first started having problems I had fallen asleep one night and woke up cause in my "dream" I saw a small bright blue light then all at once it exploded very violently.and I woke up laying on my floor...Maybe a year passes and I was sleeping and I woke up to the sensation of being pushed...I couldnt move it was like there was 3000lbs of weight on my body I got super scared then alll of a sudden it felt like i was getting elecrocuted by a million volts every muscle in my body tenced up that lasted for half the time the weight thing did but it was probably about a good 30 seconds..then all at once it stopped and I mean I compleatly exploded off off my bed my whole body erupted and lept off of my mattress..ever since then I have had a few tics i guess you could say..I have had eye twitching for as long as i can remember but now it is more frequent.but the weirdest thing is that just after waking up and sometimes throught the day i get this feeling of like its not real..this part is hard to explain...I will wake up and I know i am awake and i can move around fine but its like somepart of my brain is still dreaming or not seeing that we are back in reality yet and it is all very serreal. I dont have insurance so i havent even talked to a doctor cause i just dont have the money but if someone here can please help me and give me some advice on what happened or something I can do...anything would help..

You absolutely need to see an epileptologist! Your "ticks" are a very bad sign. Don't let them get worse, or you could get a lot worse. I have fuzzy feelings in my cheek. I let these go, and ended up getting very sick, having more frequent seizures, and on a lot more medication. I don't have insurance either, and spend a good chunk of my money on medication and doctors. I know that it can be hard to get a job with benefits. I'm sure that you can manage to afford one visit. If you tell them you don't have insurance, they will give you a discount. You can ask them about your options for affording and getting medical care and they should be able to direct you. I know that in Massachusetts residents get free care at some hospitals if they don't have insurance.

Very sorry/ I understand because mine was very serious,I was warned because of previous seizures/ I went swimming and woke up in hospital the doctor said I had drowned and was revived/ I had a fit when swwimming and on oxygen for two weeks. I seen 10 neurologist whom gave different prescriptions. I went in to Hospital and had an M.R.I. and an EEG examinations/ kept in bed for 7 days connected to a monitor, the Doctor reduced my medercations each night until I had a fit I had one and the nurse could see on the Monitor that it was a Grand MAL and the medercation had to be changed. I live in Australia and a member of an Epileptic Foundation/ when you find one they will help you contact my.epilepsy.com Email and they will provide you with assistance. My Email is bhenn@bigpond.com Best of luck Brian
