Had Epilepsy for 10 Years - New Symptoms!?

I was wondering if anyone had any insight. I'm 18 years old and have had Epilepsy for 10 years now - they declared me seizure free in 2012 and I've been off medication since 2009-2010, and my last seizure was somewhere in 2007 or so.

I have seizures in my frontal lobe, not sure which, I'm pretty positive its the right but not 100%.

I've known all my past side affects - Short-term memory loss - Twitching - Feeling sick and weak - Et Cetera

But I have a new reoccuring symptom that just started earlier today while I was in my high school. A ringing/buzzing in my ear after I suddenly lose hearing in my left ear (but left ear only.) It feels as if after I gain my hearing back, that I don't gain it back completely. 

Now before I break out into an episode that same symptom happens. But this has been happening to me all day and I didn't go into a seizure at all. 

Along with the sudden hearing loss and ringing - over the past month or so I've been experiencing a "Dream-Like State", where literally everything I do feels like I'm living in a dream, and it has almost gotten dangerous. I remember one night I was driving my boyfriend home and I had the thought "What if I swerved into the oncoming lane - this is a dream afterall." And I had to shake myself out of that thought because it was indeed really happening. After a few times of me realizing this was happening, I looked it up. On Wiki it says that what I might be suffering from is Derealization. And I saw on there that it was a common side-affect of Epilepsy or other neurological disorders. 

I'm wondering if anyone else out there has  had some run-ins with Derealization and had random and continuous bouts with sudden deafness followed by ringing/buzzing.
