Fatigue and headache.

Thu, 09/14/2006 - 08:10
Good morning. I think. Has anyone else suffered from severe debilitating headaches? I woke up at 3am with a headache so bad I could barely get out of bed to get an advil. I went back to bed and woke up feeling a bit better, but I'm tired. I'm so tired I just want to curl up and cry. I think I had a seizure yesterday, but I don't know when. I just had the sense that I'd had one. I know I've been back to spacing out a lot. My neuro told me to up my meds on my own if the seizures kept happening after a week. I don't know if I feel good about doing that, nevertheless I'm up to 2000mg of keppra daily starting Sunday. Does anyone else get really fatigued or have headaches after simple partials? I'm trying to figure out if maybe I had a seizure in my sleep.

Awwww, honey. *hugs you* I really feel for you. Headaches can be such a drain. About five years ago I went through a period of about four months when I would have horrible headaches daily. The only thing I could do to get rid of them was sleep. I was having a lot of SPS at the time, and I think I had a tonic-clonic in my sleep too. I don't know what to suggest other than try and take it easy. I went to see my doc and he gave me severe pain killers, but I did some research, found out they were about as addictive as vallium, and chuked the lot in the garbage. Eventually the headaches went away on their own, but it was an awful time. I hope you feel better soon.

I get headaches alot myself. As a matter of fact, I usually keep a headache. I am fatigued after SP's. I have had several SP's in the last week or so and I just feel so tired and even iritable afterward. . It also sounds like you may have had a seizure in your sleep because when I have TC's , I wake up and my head will hurt so bad I can't even explain the pain. I'm here for you. Hope you feel better soon.

I am very certain I am seizing in my sleep. The thing is, the neuro won't do another EEG. We KNOW that stress induces seizures for me, but he said the only reason to do another EEG would be to determine where the seizures are coming from if all medication fails. Is that really true? I don't trust anyone or anything anymore.
