Fainting with Partial Seizures

Thu, 05/04/2017 - 10:53
I've had Simple & Complex seizures for 11 years (I'm 40 now). and just last week there were 3 times where I passed out suddenly and then had my seizure symptoms (difficulty moving and speaking). I've actually never lost consciousness before during a seizure and I usually feel a 5 minute warning before they happen, so this sudden passing out is troubling. I've also been experiencing dizziness for the last 6 months that has gotten much worse the last 2 weeks. I have an appointment my neurologist in 2 weeks, but I'm not sure if this is something that merits going to the ER to get checked out sooner. Anyone have any experience with something like this?

Call your neurologist and talk with the nurse practioner . Tell them what has been happening. Let them know you have an appointment but you are worried. At times I did it and they adjusted my dosages and I had to keep notes on how things went while the adjustment was going on.I have gotten a lot done in calls. Dosage adjustment and medication changes and had the appointment 2 months later
