Epilepsy Shouldn't stop anyone from loving life.

Epilepsy is difficult to cope with, but I have learned to focus on the positive, put the negative in the back of my head and focus on my acheivements as a way to keep my self-confidence high.

Stacey, I really hope this doesn't sound rude.... but why do you keep posting the same thing over and over and over again? I'm really glad that you have accomplished so much. But isn't saying it once enough? =(

Stacey, What type of epilepsy do you have, what type of seizures and what AED's are you on? I went to your sight and other than speaking of a car wreck, I couldn't find any of this information. I think your accomplishments are wonderful, but the approach you use when posting them make it all about you instead of encouraging others. Epilepsy comes in many forms and types, different degrees of severity. This being so, I find your posting of "See what I have done...me,me,me"...a tad bit distasteful. Perhaps you could change your form of writing from, "See what I can do", to "See what you can do". The first thing I think of when reading your posts are the ones with severe forms of epilepsy and how it must make them feel. You have every right to be proud of your accomplishments but I've always had a problem with those that toot their own horn. If the posting was to show what can be accomplished irregardless of epilepsy, it was lost in your wording. Have a nice day. -Spiz

Stacey, I have to agree with Spiz on this one. Also, if you had just posted it one time instead of multiple times....people here DO READ things others post. I'm sorry honey, but it was a bit obnoxious. :)
