Epilepsy and Sleep Apnea

Tue, 08/26/2014 - 11:29

I have recently been diagnosed with Left Temporal Lobe Epilepsy.  I have had panic attacks for years, not sure if they were actually due to the TLE or not.  My question is has anyone heard of a correlation between possible nocturnal seizures (never witnessed) and sleep apnea.  The only times I have flet like something may have happened in my sleep is when I have fallen asleep flat on my back and when I haven't been wearing my CPAP.

Epilepsy has nothing to do

Epilepsy has nothing to do with sleep napea. Sleep apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts. You may have sleep apnea if you snore loudly and you feel tired even after a full night's sleep.
