Hello everyone,

I had epilepsy nearly three years ago.  I have been thinking about looking for jobs that would be compatible with my college degree in History at the U.S. government agencies but don’t know where to start.  Any suggestions?

If you haven't done so, do a search at USA JOBS and submit an application. I would look for some help on, "How do I actually get hired by the government?" The application process is anything but straightforward. Find someone who knows what they are doing. Some federal agencies have historians, and many cities do as well. You might need a PhD, or at least a MA for that. There might also be jobs in federal, state, or city governments in fields like archaeology, archives, or libraries. You could probably get a job working at an historical site as an "interpreter" or "docent", but that might be very part time. An unpaid internship would probably be a good idea.
