Employer turn down for epilepsy

Thu, 02/05/2015 - 06:54

Like many out there my seizures have caused damage to my memory and to my body.  My medications and adjustments to medications can cause havoc in my professional and personal life as they alter my moods, sleep patterns, memory, etc…

I left a job I liked to try something new did not like it and tried to return to my old.  I was told my application was among the best having held the job for four years and still no call back.  Could it be that now after working there for four years they knew about my epilepsy and now use but really don’t use that as an excuse?  Say something like he just didn’t fit in?  I have co-workers lined up for recommendations.  What would cause an employer to use that for not hiring?  Is it the employer’s fear I left once and will leave again or is it fear of my epilepsy?

Why would they re-hire

Why would they re-hire someone who quit? It had nothing to do with epilepsy.
