E specialist

I think I am going to look for a seizure specialist soon. I am not very happy with my own doctor. I feel like she is not listening very well to my questions and just trying to get me out the door as fast as possible to get onto her next patient. I think several problems I have is because she is not taking the time to think through my questions about the medications I am currently on. I hope to find a better doctor out there somewhere. Has anyone had better luck with an E specialist?

As one who's been to many

As one who's been to many specialists, and coped with meds for many decades, I had FAR MORE luck with an epileptologist that any regular neurologist. It was an epileptologist that got me controlled (for the first time in my life) and, after that vanished ten years later, it was another epileptologist that recommended testing for surgery. Surgery was over a year and a half ago and since that time I've had no seizures. I'm now completely off meds for the first time in my life.
