drug user with seizures in the sleep

Thu, 05/03/2007 - 14:54
edit: my doctor also said that the most likely cause of my seizures is that when i'm "stoned" and go to sleep my brain waves are really low, and then when it wears off my brain waves spike really fast and that's what sets off my seizure. hi, i just registered here. i have been having seizures for little under a year now and have been using drugs since i was about 15, and i am 20 now. some of the drugs i have used include cannabis(pretty much every day), lsd(not so much), various tryptamines (including 5-methoxy-dimethyltryptamine(5-meo-dmt), alpha-methyltryptamine(AMT), and 5-methoxy-alphamethyltryptamine(5-meo-amt)). my doctor says i have "malformed cells in the right side of my brain" which didn't really say much to me but he says i shouldn't be putting any more chemicals into my brain. so he put my on dilantin and folic acid. he also said i have a larger region in the back of my head where the optical lobe and the cerebllum meet. mine is about 10 times as big as a normal persons. he said that shouldn't be causing my seizures and should have no effect on my brain at all, but i'm not convinced. i've read things about AMT causing an abnormal bubble in the back of the brain which would have to be drained with a large needle (keep in mind i only did amt once.). i would love to get a second opinion but i don't have the money. i'm going to try to go to a docters visit with a different neurologist and try to get the bills written off because of the fact i have no money. also he said my epilepsy is categorized as "general epilepsy" which also didn't really describe much. and my seizures are only while i'm asleep. i haven't had a seizure in about 3 weeks since i've been taking the dilanin every night. so pretty much why i'm posting this is to see what others think about this "general epilepsy" and get feedback on the tryptamines. thanks alot.
