BruceHi, Thanks so much for all the information. Wow, I have learned alot since I posted. There is alot of great information on this website. First of all, I realize now illness has nothing to do with epilepsy. Although, the ER and Dr. asked if he had been sick or had any injuries. The answer is no to both. You are right about the fear that is among the uneducated people. It scares me to no end. As for my 13 year old son, yes, his seizures are under control. Only ever had one. Still on the Depakote ER. My 10 year old hasnt had any other ones either. So it seems medicine is working for both. What are chances of them out growing these? I dont want any false hopes. I am just wondering. I am still educating myself on all of this. Thanks alot for your response. I am grateful for any information. Lee K.

Lee K, the real chances for your sons growing out of their szs are rather possible, but no definites. Old saying, time will tell.

IÂ’m now working at trying to figure out how the chat thing works on here so maybe we and many other people on here can join in and do some live chatting.
