Hi Benosmom,
You might consider putting a video camera in your son's room to monitor his seizure activity at night. You might also talk to your son's neurologist and ask him if your son's heavyness in his legs signifies a seizure or if this is a common side effect of Keppra. For more information regarding Keppra please go to:

It could mean he had a seizure, I know when I have seizures that my body is a little too weak for me to be able to walk but my legs do feel pretty heavy, I mean not to scare you or anything but sometimes it is good to have a little ifo or support now and again am I right? Anyway It's a possibility but it could also mean that maybe he was tired that also happens to me sometimes so I would recommend that he go to a Neurologist anyway especially if he has a seizure disorder OK?
