right frontal lobe

Hello everyone,  this is my first time to this site and i just want to share my story with you.

I have a 4 yr. old daughter that at the end of Octrober started to wake up in the middle of the night and sit up in bed and she would just stare into space and and start picking things with her hands and talking about really weird stuff, and about thirty sec. or so she would go back to sleep.  Well that went on about every 5 min the first night.  She then started to do it in the day time to. Well i took her to her Pediatrician and they told me it was probably nerves and not to worry about it.  I really did not like that answer so i took to the a Hospital, and they did a CAT scan and blood work and said it all looked fine they counld not find anything wrong with her.  On the way home from the hospital she had a Gran Mol  seizure in her car seat.  We called 911 and it took them about 19 tryes to put an IV in her because she kept seizing.

They ended up sending her down to Sutter Memorial in Sacromento Ca.  and they did an MRI and it showed that she had a Right Frontal Lobe Tumor.  To make a long story short, she started having partial complex seizures about every 3-5 min.  they put her on Tegratol and that did nothing for her, then they tried topomax, nothing.  Then they tried Dilantin and that worked for about 2 weeks and she started to have break through seizures.  So then they added phenabarbital and that didn't work, did then tried Depokot 775 mg. a day.  She spent about 4 weeks in the hospital total with seizures about every 3-5 min.  They ended up doing surgery on Dec 29th and removed her whole right front tempral lobe.  She  now has a metal plate in her head.  You know one day she was fine and healthy and the next day she was very sick, just go with your tuition and be tough.  She had over 400 seizures in a three day period on her EEU.  They had to put her on life support because of her seizures. oh and every time she had a seizure her right eye would twitch really bad.
