My girlfriend has epilepsy.

Hello everybody, I am new to this site, and know very little about epilepsy and seizures. I am very new to this. I recently started a relationship with my girlfriend, who has epilepsy. I have started doing more research into what it is and how it works, and I was looking for advice on how to be as sensitive as I can regarding her epilepsy and seizures. I am an adventurous person by nature; I ski, hike, and I currently work in the skydiving industry and do that often. These are all things I would love to share with her, but I also don't want to put her at risk or pressure her; she is no coward, but she does try to stay safe and not put herself in too many positions that could be dangerous if a seizure were to happen. I worry that I could make her feel left out or feel like she has to go too far out of her comfort zone to keep up with me. Is that a stupid thing to think? I genuinely don't know. Just looking for advice and stories. Thank you for your reading my ramblings.

Good question.. Also she does

Good question.. Also she does try to stay safe and not put herself in too many positions that could be dangerous if a seizure were to happen. That shows she wants to do things and knows to protect herself. Merealoaded may see this and post about her son who skis and does many other things which being an epileptic. Myself I climbed certain mountains and did all kinds of stuff people (who didn't know much) told me I couldn't do them. I hunted, fishes, swam (someone was with me) and many other things. Now depending on the type or types of her seizures you may not have a problem. Oh and who knows she might take up photography since pics can do many things. Think about you skiing and her taking a pic of you. There are several things that can be done by the both of you her doing one thing you another.I learned to stretch my comfort zone years ago. But I had fewer seizures then many and I know when to stop where I was before going on after the seizure. You might want to discuss her interests and see where yours and hers can cross. Mountain climbing and fossil hunting go together I did them from the time I was about 10.
