medication side effects

Hi, I recently posted about my 6 year old son who is taking Carbatrol.(We were the ones discussing our behavior problems and parental anxiety.) Jack's dosage was just upped and now it seems that everyday around 1:00 he feels terrible, complaining of a really bad headache, extreme tiredness and some visual problems.(he said that everything was moving "up and up." So I have a call into my Neuro. , but I can't imagine him being at school--or anywhere else--when this happens. He is out of commission for an hour or more and then is back to himself. So I am quite sure that this is when the time release "peaks." So if we do achieve seizure control with this dose is this acceptable.....I can't imagine him feeling this bad everyday. I appreciate any help...thank you ...Carrie
