What's the point?

Wed, 04/02/2008 - 11:11
Can anyone tell me the benefits of having "Buddies"...on this website, that is! :)  I thought maybe their profiles (that aren't public) would then be available, or that I would be able to talk to them "directly" somehow (Instant message, etc)...but so far I haven't discovered what comes with having buddies...Am I missing something big here...I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case!  Thanks!  Val

I'm not sure the point except for furthering the sense of camaraderie all of us who are dealing with epilepsy share (which doesn't really need a name, does it?). I believe it may not be possible to become a buddy of yours, plopdan u.k., on this site anyway . I just tried to and because your profile is set to private, requesting you as a buddy does not not seem to be an option. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who has made this attempt. I would love to learn more about what it does mean to be one's "buddy" on this site.

Yes...a public profile would seem to be required for people to accept you as a buddy....
