Surgery

I am going to have surgery. I was told that I have epilepsy in the frontal lobe. I was wondering if anyone has had surgery in the frontal lobe for epilepsy. Thanks

Hey I'm 15years old I've had seiziers since I was 1 an I have the grand mal too (  complex partial seizures secondary generalization ) I've went meds to meds I'm so scared cause nothing has kept it undercontrol each meds lasted a good 6 months before I had to switch my last resort we are talking with everyone no's is the surgery I have to admit after reading everyone's post how it hurts an some come back in a few years I'm really scared like will they have to shave my head ??? I have no clue I'm only 15 I cry every night hating this wishing I was normal but in reality what is " normal" I'm scared what if I pass it to my kids one day I always was getting made fun of .. If anyone got surgery in the right frontal lobe please share how it went !

 My doctor wants me to have surgery in my right frontal lobe so if anyone else can find any information on that I would be most  appreciative

Yes, surgery in the frontal lobes is done, but less common than surgery in the temporal lobes and the 'success rates' may be a bit different. It can still be quite helpful though.
