Is this siezures

Hi all last year in October I had what seemed like episodes of absence siezures. It was like I was there and I could see and hear but at the same time there was something else going on in my head almost like a dream. I've had these episodes about every two to three months since and they last a couple of days and I have about six events in one day. I had an EEG it was normal. No Dr seems to know what it is and I feel I'm being dismissed because it stops by itself. Can anyone please give me any info on what this might. be siezures or not. Thanks

well it isn't an absence seizure because you would not be aware for the duration of a generalized seizure. it could be another kind of seizure or something else. normal EEGs occur even for people who have epilepsy. longer EEGs have a better yield but it isn't a perfect test. I would push for another consult, preferably with an epileptologist. in the meanwhile record events by dare, time, details about duration, and any details about preceding situations (always in car, just after waking, sunny days, whatever).

Thanks

My trying to describe what happenedto Stephanie after she started using O2 Drops, wouldn't do her amazing story justice. I'd like to invite you to see and hear Stephanie's journey with O2 Drops in her ownwords by watching the video below.http://tinyurl.com/getridofepilepsy
