Not fully understanding epilepsy yet

Thu, 07/21/2016 - 10:19
I had my first seizure sept. 2015. I was hospitalized for several days for tests. My CT scan, EEG and MRI can back fine. I have no history of epilepsy in my family. No cause was found so I was sent home with a diagnosis of we are about 90% sure it was caused by tramadol, follow up with a dr in 6 months. 4 months and 7 days later I had my second and third seizure within hours of each other, hospitalized again, tests run again i.e. CT scan, EEG and lots of blood tests, which came back showing no cause other than low iron and protein. I was put on Keppra and have just recently passed the six month seizure free mark. I have days where I just feel off kilter, other days I feel edgy, not sure how much is due to epilepsy, migraine or Keppra. For the most part I feel I have adjusted well to the Keppra other than fatigue. Any insight on understanding idiopathic epilepsy would be welcome. Also curious as to if I need to worry about epilepsy,Keppra and heat/humidity. Thank you
