My Solution To IE and Chat Room

Mon, 12/12/2005 - 05:56
I messed with my settings and updates on my computer regarding IE and the chat room until I had only one hair on my head left that I hadn't pulled out. They don't like each other at all. And I don't like them anymore either when used in the same sentence together. But I had to find ONE place to read and chat instead of having to go to google to chat and IE to read.(Don't ask...I have no clue why.) So I downloaded Mozilla Firefox. And guess what? Not only can I read and chat...it loads faster than IE and my ISP. And for any people who cut their teeth on IE like I did and use it mainly out of habit...you can still use both. Firefox opens in its own window. Smiles all around! -Spiz

Patty, Did you ever get around to trying it? If so, what do you think? I came across software on the free extensions to the site to eliminate the 'flashing' on flashing ads and such that may be a help to those that flashing ads and smilies may pose a problem for. It has oodles of extensions to add to the site. I still haven't read through them all. I'm really pleased with the site. And I'm not easy to please when it comes to search engines, browsers and such.
