I'm new to the website. I've been on Lyrica now for 6 months now and am experiencing lots of anxiety and emotional problems. I feel its tearing my marriage of 25 years apart. I don't see my doctor until late August. Do you think I should see him earlier? Its very hard because I don't have anyone too share my problems with. My husband is tierd of running me to doctor appts. I wouldike to know someones input on the subject. Thanks All

Lyrica was really bad for me.  My side effects included blurred vision, weight gain, constipation, confused thinking, some kind of dyslexia.  I'm weaning off it now.

I'M SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH BUT IT IS HARD FOR ME TO HEAR THAT YOUR HUSBAND IS TIRED OF RUNNING YOU TO THE DOCTORS. WHEN YOU 2 GOT MARRIED HE TOOK VOWS THAT HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU THROUGH SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH. YOU CANT HELP THAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH SOMETHING RIGHT NOW. YOU NEED HIM RIGHT NOW AND HE IS NOT BEING FAIR TO YOU. CALL YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY AND TELL HIM ABOUT YOUR SIDE EFFECT HE MIGHT LOWER YOUR DOSE OR CHANGE YOUR MEDS.

HMM You know I have also been taking Lyrica for about eight months now. I am having anxiety problems and I am assuming mine is just hormone related. But never thought it was the lyrica. For mine has gotten worse for me too. Go a bit earlier and talk with your doctor about it. Sorry to hear about your marital problems. It can be hard for the family to understand what you are going through and why you are reacting the way you do in different situations. talk with your doctor as soon as possible Lisa http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/epilepsyapproach/
