Hello everyone, im 19 and I have a question. So i had one seizure few months ago, i was on alot of tests- eeg, ekg,ct,xray, tilt up table, blood And every one turned up okay (just liver enzimes a bit higher than normal) So i wasnt diagnosed with epilepsy, but still im scared of having another seizure because i feel different for a long time now, and i get alot of muscle tingling and speaking difficulties, feels like my mouth just get error and cant say something... Anyway my seizure started from right side of jaw/neck, it just locked to one place and then in seconds spreaded to whole body, i couldnt move, muscles were all tight and i just fell and hit my head multiple times, i was able to see and think normally (though i was dieing) until i couldnt catch a breath and soon all went black, I woke up few mins ago after had a nice dream and i was confuzed (why was i there, what happend, werent i sleeping in my bed...) And soon i got myself together, and since then i feel different, sometimes im highly sensitive to sounds and light, And headaches, alot... So thanks for reading, i hope that someone knows anything about this. I saw alot of threads here and nothing really described this.

It is extremely common for normal people to experience one or two seizures through the their life. this is not epilepsy or a seizure disorder. It only is if you are having frequent seizures, detectable on an eeg. The weird feeling and symptoms you are presenting sounds more like over heightened anxiety due to your fear of another episode. Since you are not medicated, and the symptoms and the seizure you had was most definitely not a grand mal seizures but possibly a petite mal seizure, you would be having them much more frequently. most people with epilepsy that suffers from petite mal seizures and is not medicated have daily seizures. anywhere from just 1 to 20 a day. Also, if you remain conscious, the symptoms will start in your head and move down the body of they spread from the spot of origin. the origination of symptoms in the jaw/neck is not a common effect of seizures.
