Hormone therapy and epilepsy

Tue, 05/03/2016 - 22:06
I've had epilepsy since the age of seven and after having medication the seizures have been on and off. For the past 6 months they have been getting worse to the point that they occurred every day multiple times a day. Recently I started hormone therapy ( female to male transgender) and I take testosterone. I've been on Testosterone for 2 weeks, I got my second shot today, and I noticed that my seizures decreased significantly. Is it possible that the testosterone helped my seizures? Triggers for me are stress, pms/menses, flashing lights and the color red
