Hitting during/after a seizure?

Mon, 01/25/2016 - 10:30

I have generalized tonic clonic seizures.  I usually have them at night. My boyfriend said last night I "spaced out" and then I hit him and pushed him and stayed "spaced out" for 6 minutes then went to sleep. He said I didn't say a word or make noises or respond. Can this be part of a seizure? Prior to being diagnosed with seizures, this would happen and I would never respond. It doesn't happen often and I believe the first time in years.

Please let me know if anyone has experienced or know someone that has happened. I have tried to research computer but everything says you don't hit anyone during a seizure. It only has happened at night.

What happened could have been

What happened could have been a seizure. To find out more call your neurologist and research the different types of seizures you can have. There are other seizures that are generalized. Focal seizures can generalize. So if it were me I would have been calling Doc to find out more.
