Help :(

Wed, 04/09/2014 - 13:28

hey guys, I just want some help and want to know if I'm going the right way about things..

im 20 years old and I've been experiencing burning smells and other phantom smells since October 2013, I then began getting these odd deja vu feelings, once a month. Up until February of this year where these deja vu feelings have increased. These feelings involve me remembering a memory that makes sense at the time but once it's over I have no recollection of that memory whatsoever. I'm left feeling quite nervous.. It's horrible.

These past 6 months have been the worst of my life. I've been so scared reading things online about it possibly being epilepsy. I've been back and forth to the doctors who have been brushing it off as anxiety... It was only until January they refferred me to a neurologist. I'm from the UK and referrals take ages. I've been told I have another 14 week wait and it's already April. I'm just scared that they're gonna get worse...

i haven't been diagnosed with anything but obviously with the amount I've read online since October 2013 ... Epilepsy is the only thing I see online....

so basically what I'm tryna say is am I going the right way? Am I waiting too long? What if it gets worse? I'm typing this and literally in tears cos I'm so scared :(

Ps. I'm new to this site so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right section

thank you in advance
