Hello, new to the epilepsy world.

I've been having seizures for about 1-11/2 years. Just recently my doctor has found out the cause of them to be a scar on my front left lobe, I believe, that's causing temporal lobe epilepsy. I've had 2 video eegs so far this year with another planned in September. I get to work at a dispensary for my job, in the u.s. I was mainly seeing how y'all deal with this and all that. It's been tough on my wife and I. Thank you.

I'm in a pretty similar boat

I'm in a pretty similar boat to you, I got diagnosed about a year and a half ago. I go in for my second video EEG next month (this one possibly for up to 2weeks long). My misses and I get through it one day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time. I personally find taking a little time to myself each day to reflect on my current situation, helps me remember that life will get better, I've just got to work through what is a really rough time right now. I hope this was at least somewhat helpful to you. Best of luck on your upcoming EEG, I hope they are able to find the answers you're/they're looking for
