Chat Problems

Hi folks,
I'm new here and frankly, new to having epilepsy and I'm having trouble getting into the chat room. I hit the "begin chatting' button and a blue background'd window opens up but nothing else happens and I have to do ctrl+alt+del in order to get this electronic box to do anything again.....any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks for the reply. What was cut out of my post because I used "" instead of "(" is that I'm no stranger to dealing with epilepsy. I had a best friend who used to have gand mals for no less than 20 minutes at a time. You could set a watch to her fits. She'd have doozies too. I'd have to lay on top of her and hold onto the bed just to keep her on the bed. It was insane. As far as the chat room not working for me, it's wicked fustrating.

Hi Turle , welcome - When I go to chat, about 50% of the time I too get the blue box and you may as well give up and start over again. When it's successful what you'll see is a box with a little line at the bottom. Soon after that you'll get a pop up box, don't know what it says, but it asks you "yes" or "no" to download. Click "yes", it downloads quickly and you'll get onto chat. I don't know why this happens but it happens to me too. Looking forward to seeing you in chat. Gretchen
