airport metal detectors and VNS

Im going on my first plane trip since i got the Vagus nerve stimulator and i was wondering if anyone had problems going through the metal detectors the VNS?

Hello lucky 88,

                    I,ve had a vns implant for 3 years and have never encountered any problems passing through metal detectors, or security sensors at stores etc.

          One good thing to remember is to always carry your vns patient card that was given to you with the magnets that you should carry. Another question to ask yourself is if you are carrying a medical id braclet, or card.
