Farmgirl, Are you talking about the kind of cloudy days known as "bright overcast?" Where the sky is a really bright white? Because if you are, I know exactly what you are talking about because I get the same thing. Bright light can be a seizure/migraine trigger. I get really spectacular visual disturbances accompanied by the other tell-tale signs of a seizure aura. You aren't nuts. I'm not nuts, though people have tried to tell me different. I pray that it helps to know that you are not the only one. Baruch Hashem. Hoshia na. Devorah Zealot Soodak www.psychout.typepad.com/ the zealot needs help! P.S. Wow!! That is kinda comforting to know that I am not the only one in this situation. I just started haveing sensitivity to cloudy days in the past 2 or 3 years. I have always had Grand Mal seizures though and I always will. I have tried to explain to my neurologist what this sensitivity is and now thanks to you I know I am not crazy and I can put a name with it.

                                      Thank you,Thank you,Thank you!!!!

                                                  Kimberly Mayo:)

p.s. You can write me anytime:)

Kimberly, I'm happy to be able to help. It's kind of awful to think you're the only one with something. I've had that since I was a kid and didn't figure out what it was until a few years ago. My mother always told me those things were my "imagination." I knew better, but I kept my mouth shut. Best of luck with your neuro. Be well. Baruch Hashem. Hoshia na.
