VNS and endoscopy

Wed, 05/24/2006 - 22:04
Anyone have any experience with having a VNS implant and having an endoscopy done? I had a tumor removed from my esophagus a few years ago, and I just got notice from my gastro doc that they have me scheduled for ANOTHER check up endoscopy next month. I haven't had one since my VNS was implanted, and just wondered if anyone has had this done. I guess I'm a bit worried about increased throat pain, etc. I'll put a call in to the epi and gastro docs tomorrow, just looking for personal experience. Thanks !!
