Is this a Type of Seizure

I've recently been diagnose with simple partials and feel okay about it all, its affected my job and stuff but I figure there could be a lot more wrong with me and I'm fairly lucky really.
However since being diagnosed my mind has been working over time, I'm 26 and I have been having thoughts about how this may have effected my life so far and also what may have been seizures in the past.
I definately rememer auras when I was younger but don't really get them anymore, but one thing I do get ocassionally is when I have been sleeping my mind wakes up, I'm conscious but I can't actually wake my body up. I can hear my breathing and stuff and I feel that if I sleep (which my body wnats me to) I will die.Eventually I can "shake" myself awake. Very frightening - anyone heard of this? could it be E related or unrelated?

I was just talking to a friend yesterday who described hers like that. We talked about possible pseudoseizures. She is going in for a VEEG after Christmas. I also went for a VEEG but didnt have alot of seizures so we didnt catch anything out of the ordinary. I maybe doing it at home too in the near future.
