TLE or Dissociative and Conversion Disorder

Thu, 06/23/2016 - 23:03
Hey everyone! So recently I've been experiencing extreme Deja vu moments. They're fleeting but many times terrifying- I am over come with fear and soon after end up with a headache or the inability to even keep my eyes open I'm so exhausted. This along with smelling things like gasoline and feel nauseated at random times had me worried. I recently went to talk with my doctor and mentioned the Deja vu and just that the frequency was starting to concern me. I was sent for an EEG and MRI both came back normal. On my chart which I have access to via an APP my doctor has listed Dissociative and conversion disorder and to be honest that made me pretty upset. My symptoms are far from dissociative or made up! I'm present during these episodes just feel a little spacey as you can imagine. I'm feeling frustrated and I'd love to hear if anyone has had a similar experience! I'm not claiming to have TLE I didn't even know what it was before mentioning the Deja vu! I don't want a psychological diagnosis to be billed through insurance and on my MH record! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
