Temporal Lobe Seizure Experiences

Sat, 06/18/2016 - 13:50
I have been dealing with what I've always thought was hypoglycemia; sweaty, confused, extremely anxious, shaky, etc. The reason I have always suspected hypoglycemia is that food usually corrects it. On several occasions, it has reached a point where I start to flash in and out of consciousness. On two occasions, I did lose consciousness, which resulted in grand mal seizures. I saw a neurologist last week who thinks these hypoglycemic episodes might in fact be mini-seizures masquerading as hypoglycemia. As with any medial condition, I'm sure the symptoms and experiences of folks with temporal lobe seizures probably differs slightly from person to person. Can anyone with temporal lobe seizures describe what they feel/experience when they have a temporal lobe event? None of the doctors who have seen me can figure out exactly what is going on.
