Symptoms Not Consistant With Diagnosis - Help!

Hi...I'm a bit confused, so any help would be appreciated. Of course, I know I need a medical professional's advice, but any contribitions would be lovely. My nurse has said I have JME, although she can't find my EEG results on my medical history. I'm not convinced because I'm not sure I have the correct seizure types. Or at least, some of my seizure types seem to follow patterns of other epilepsys. I guess the title shouldn't matter so much, but I'd like to know what's going on. I've had absence seizures since childhood, and I had my first grand mal at 15, which I suppose led her to this diagnosis. Though...the main part of JME is supposed to be myoclonic seizures, and while I have a few moments of dropping things, it really isn't my predominant seizure type. I know I have had periods of blanking out completely, but have been able to carry out usual tasks, such as showering or making breakfast. I once spent about twenty minutes wandering around Disney World, going in and out of consciousness, and randomly picking up the same item in a gift store over and over again, before finally I had a grand mal. I've had auras - hearing my name being called sometimes, when nobody is clearly there, and also my stomach rising into my throat, making me feel very sick and very hot. I've listened to long conversations without showing any sign of response (or indeed, I feel that I can't hear them, but have been able to recall what they have been speaking about at a later date). I've also had conversations with people and haven't remembered an entire period of up to an hour. Grand mal will usually follow. So yeah, I'm confused. I just want to know that I'm not being crazy by thinking this. I've sort of been given the impression that hey, whatever, it doesn't matter. Can I demand another EEG, or a neuro-refereal? I'm in the Uk. Thanks all who respond.

I would take the diagnoses made by a nurse with a grain of salt. There are many very competent nurses who know a lot but making the final diagnosis is a little peculiar.
