Simple Partial Sezuires Explained?

Sun, 10/22/2006 - 22:27
Hi! For those out there who have simple partials, are you able to explain how you feel to me? I am trying to understand if I am having anxiety about complex partials, or if I am having simple partials - or if its a bit of both! I will start to feel slow, tried, scared, and everything around me will look strange or fake (derealization) - I will struggle to get back up to 'speed', my legs and arms become really heavy. I might also get really hot or cold. Will the become restless and jittery and will want to immediatly leave where i am. Some times a complex partial will follow after this. Does anyone get anything similar to this? Ta! Bec

I have had these sezuires since I was about 14 years old I am now 30 years old. I HATE them, they really effect my life in every way. There are times were I have four a day, then that night when I go to bed I have them in my sleep. After I have an episode like this I feel out of it for days,I feel scared to be left alone, my house and my surroundings look very strange. I feel parinod alomst like I'm loosing my mind. I have a nuero I see now and then, all he wants to do is throw new medicine at me and send me on my way. I'm not a test rat, I feel very unsatisfied. The sezuires that I have ALWAYS start out with deja vu,when I feel that comming on I just start to take deep breaths and try to relax, my heart starts to flutter and I feel like I'm going to pass out! I wish I could get rid of these things for ever.  I just wounder why they started when I was a young teen, and not when I was a child. I wish I  knew what causes them, and why I was picked to have them!

c'est vous les jamais vu?  Parleis vous Francais?  oui eh no?

Your in the Minor leagues with your symptoms amounts of actual descriptions taken From a neuropsychiatric standpoint, Curious though as to exactly how many of the 50 or so specific checklisted different symptoms did you "check off" as to actually said you've had prior complaints of symptoms? In other words how many of the 50 or so checklisted symptoms did you admit testing positive to having 10? 20?  30?  more????

simple partials get really cool and fun to tell docs and get their attention with their eyes wide open and ear canals fully open  when you've experienced and described to them  "jamais vu" experiences sweetie!!!!

It sounds to me like you are having simple partials. Here is a link to explain all the different types and symptoms of simple partials. http://www.epilepsy.com/epilepsy/seizure_simplepartial.html Feeling scared and everything looking fake or derealized are classic symptoms of simple partials. Also, becoming hot and cold are symptoms of a simple partial. When I have simple partials, my heart starts racing, I get hot and sweaty typically and sometimes I hear a ringing. If there are any other questions, I can try to answer as well as anyone here. Hope you find the support you need.
