Seizures but not epilipetic?

Wed, 02/08/2017 - 09:56
I am 24 years old and was taken to emergency several weeks ago after colapsing and having repeated seizures lasting around 45 seconds to a minute each. This went on for 3 days having them nearly every 10 minutes averaging around 90 a day. I don't remember much from these days simply from exhaustion, after being put on magnesium tablets they started to get less and less untill after a week they completely went away. - CT, EEG, MRI all normal results was resurred it was not epilepsy and said it was most likely PNES (psychological non epileptic seizure) I was basically told over and over again that they were a strong reaction to stress, anxiety and depression and had nothing to do with the magnesium. I have never suffered from depression or anxiety and I very honestly told them I did not have any stress in my life- I live a very normal healthy happy life. Once the seizures had stopped I was sent home without an actual explanation of what happened to me to have hundreds of seizures and a pescription to anti depressants.. Basically just wondering if anything similar has every happened to anyone? Or if anyone can shed any light on my situation? It would be greatly appreciated.
