Anyone have experience with nonconvulsive status epilepticus? My sister in law has had epilepsy for 20 yrs since she was 13 no known cause 4 days ago my crazy mother in law took her off her meds and soon after she started having seizures and now she is in a constant state of confusion slow to respond very quiet has anxiety and now is having seizures in her sleep as of today there hasnt been any improvement i did some research and came across status epilepticus as a possible cause of her symptoms possibly brought on by being yanked off her meds. I am wondering is anyone has any addvice my husband and i live 9 hours away and feel helpless to do anything and we fear my mother in law will not take our worries seriously she thinks she knows more than drs we found out from my sister in laws boyfriend that she had stopped taking her meds per her mothers instructions any response would be greatly appreciated!
