I had a sleep deprived EEG today, as my doctor suspects I may have epilepsy.
During the part where they have you close your eyes and they stick a strobe light in your face, blinking it at different frequencies, my face began to twitch uncontrollably all over and my eyelids fluttered. My head felt tingly all over, too. I didn't lose consciousness, but it was obviously extremely scary. This was unlike my usual episodes/seizures, with the exception of the head tingling.
Is this a normal response to the strobe light?
