My Epilepsy

Ever get tired of those doctor's telling you your seizure was because your Dilantin level was to low no matter how much you take ? Give me a new one ! After 14 year's of living with epilepsy paying tens of thousands of dollars in doctor/ER bill's, I found out that they don't even check your blood suger when testing for a dilantin level. So I checked it myself when I awok from a grand mal seizure and BINGO! come to find out my blood suger was 81 I never thought I would be so happy to find out that I'm diabetic, but atleast I now know why I have seizure's. I would strongly suggest to anyone with Epilepsy to buy something to test there blood suger daily reguardless of what there doctor say's about them being a diabetic or any other cause for the seizure's other then tummers or hydrocephalous. Beleave me I know all the horrible feelings of having epilepsy " like when you have when your friends over and have one on toilet- and being in your own bed one minute and awakening in the ambulance the next with tons of needles in you or atleast hopeing they're in when you wake up. and ofcourse all of the fear's like driving or being in the shower or out and about by yourself with lot's of cash that can be stolen if you have one.
