Me Again...annoying ER visit

Mon, 01/01/2007 - 16:20
So on Saturday I woke up feeling like utter crap. I'd been having trouble sleeping, and when my husband came home from work, I tried to sleep a bit more, but just couldn't. (PMS can make me really tired so I just attributed my extra exhaution to that). When my husband woke up we had an argument, and I threw on my jacket to go for a walk. I was on this small path between a sod fence, and a rock wall, the ground was mostly grass and dirt, but there were some rocks around. I sat down because I was really feeling dizzy, and I started to feel myself "zone out". The ground looked like it was sinking into a sink hole, and I felt like the ground was shaking. I stood up to try and get back to my apartment, but everything looked so strange, nt solid, but wavy. It was like all of a sudden depth perception dissapeared. I can't remember everything either, I was walking back and forth, but I kept getting to other spots on the path without remembering how I got there. Then I felt myself lose my footing, tried to grab the wall, but I couldn't. Next thing I know I'm opening my eyes and I'm face first on a rock. I hurt, but I don't really get it yet. I've got that confused thing going on. Somehow I get to my apartment, and when I snap outta it I do a check. My pants are ripped, my lip is bleeding, and I have a nice bruise on my knee. My head isn't bleeding but I decide to go to the ER out of sheer anger. They told me that those dizzy spells I get where I zone out and things look distorted are pre-seizure warnings/auras. But then why do I get them all the time, but only have big seizures randomly, and a lot less often? Does anyone know of a good neuro in the CT area? Thanks, annoyed crazy
