Kinda deja vu, but kinda not?

Sun, 12/20/2015 - 09:15

So, I've recently been diagnosed with Frontal Lobe Epilepsy.  I've had 4 grand mal seizures in my life, spanning over 10 years, so they're not regular occurences.   The biggest gap between seizures has been 6 years!

Before the seizures, I get really strong deja vu, it's just random. Last time I was at dog show and a black pug came running up to me and I thought I'd seen it before, random haha!

Anyway, I've always also suffered with an anxiety/panic disorder.  6-7 weeks ago I was STUPID and I got really drunk, ended up at a house party, had some weed which I never usually smoke and had a terrible trip.  Since then, my anxiety levels have been through the roof and I've been having panic attacks and whatnot.  Also, since the diagnosis and the last seizure (Since it was so unexpected and I had thought I'd grown out of it, maybe that it was hormonal) my anxiety has also risen.  Now I keep getting like random memories popping into my head, and an on-off almost constant deja vu feeling, absolutely nothing like when I have a seizure, it comes with no other symptoms, but it's more of a "i've been or done this before" feeling that I can't seem to shift.  I've read up on epilepsy as you do, and I can't really see anything like what I have been experiencing, so I'm more on the side of thinking that it's anxiety/OCD and that because I'm constantly anxious, I'm always on the lookout for something that might be a seizure in fear of having one.

Anyone else like this? Do you guys think it's just my anxiety/busy mind almost looking for something all the time?
