Just rambling

Thu, 03/23/2006 - 13:21
Starting about five weeks ago had multiple daily seizures (or so I believe them to be) weird mental/visual pictures of colors and deja vu over the experience followed by confusion all of this lasting no longer than 20 seconds each time. Also had two instances with rising feeling in stomach nausea and tunnel vision with instant anxiety followed by intense sleepiness. I have also had daily headaches more like tension headaches as there is no throbbing pain and a frequent flushed feeling and look to my face and head that occured nearly daily. During the first few weeks was having panic attacks frequently. Things were starting to calm down by the time I was able to see the neurologist by the end of the third week and the past couple of weeks the symptoms seem to have dissapeared save for the headache that goes all day every day. I had an EEG last week and it came back normal. I feel like the doctor is going to think I'm making all this up. I don't know if the symptoms are going to come back or not. I don't even know if those were seizures. The doctor says it may be me just cracking from all the anxiety I have been having but that it might be seizures. I am going back in to meet with the neurologist next week. I don't know what I'm trying to say here I just feel stressed out. I'm really thankfull that the symptoms have gone away during the past two weeks. I probably don't need medication for seizures and I probably don't need medication for anxiety. I feel like I'm stuck between feeling fine and stuck between being sick. I know it could be much worse and I feel ashamed to be complaining here. My heart goes out to all suffering from seizure disorders. I have been moved by what many of you all are going through. Sorry to be rambling. =)
