I feel lost in the woods!

my neuro is too busy! nurses call me up but tell me they can't reveal any inforo to me! big dark secret? So I got my own MRI it says I have thinning of the wall of the mammmillary body and the unicus. and I have flair at high frequency noted but most likely of high frequency of small vessells. but other wise a normal mri? this doesnt sound so normal to me it is very lengthy and I seize still. I first say my neuro who is at a very busy unv who has a very short personality with me. I always feel rather put down when she talks to me. And she is always in a rush to get away from me. in a hurry. Can someone please tell me how they would feel if they got an mri with a report as such, would you have some type of concerns? I do have a new doctor coming up that is why I got my mri report I think I will do better get and I will request the images as well to be transferred as well!! wenny

wenny, if i read that i would be concerned to and search the internet on what it meant. i always hear mine are normal, no tumors. but ok wha t does that mean. so i took my last mri from my reg neuro to my epi spec and he looked it over and said it looked good. he said thats its very normal for a noncontroled epileptic even with some damage from too many seizures to have a normal looking mri. my eeg is his way of gaging me. so wenny if i was told that i would want a whole bunch of answers. i think you are right to switch docs. if they dont have time for you they dont have time to diagnose you fully. she doesnt sound caring at all. good luck to you and keep me informed, i'll be praying for you. your freind, sylvia aka banffgirl
