was quoted at least 2 weeks by the EEG technician, but I was wondering if the turn around time is any faster?

I think every hospital and Dr is different. With my last EEG, my Dr had the results within 2 days. Although my EEG and Dr where located 20 meters away from each other. haha. With my next EEG, apparently it will take a week to get results (although new Dr, and new hospital!).

I think it does depend on who does the AEEG. When I had the AEEG, it was at the local affiliated hospital for my neuro. It took them about 2 weeks to get the results to my doctor. Good luck.

2 weeks sounds quick to me. Think people are right, depends on doctors, hospitals, etc. The EEG tech doesn't tell me anything. I wait until I see my neuro any time I have that done, and for me that's usually a few months, but I'm used to it. Luckily I only go through standard EEG's every 4 yrs or so, then a sleep deprived if needed and an AEEG is the last one he'll do. Been about 2 or 3 since the last ones. ~ EC
